We aim to influence policy so that the planning and delivery of services for Cumbria and the North West takes in the needs of the BME people in Cumbria and rural areas.

We aim to facilitate effective communication between the BME people and groups themselves and policy influencers/makers by the development of networks.

We facilitate the provision of advice, support (individual and group) and training for the BME people to help build their capacity in Cumbria.

We promote the active participation of BME people and groups in the development of policy at district, county, regional and national level.
